Adelina was proactively taken off of CPAP today and put on a ventilator at 30%. She was resting for the first time instead of fighting... but of course, all that fighting and crying was helping her lungs open. She was also moved to an isolette for the first time today, which is a good sign that they do not expect to have to access her for emergency reasons.
She was fed for the time - 2 feedings of 1cc through her NG tube (nasal) and she tolerated very well. She is definitely a Calvanese, but she's got quite some time to catch up to her "big" sister. Addy was also taken off the lights today for jaundice.
Jen also was able to change her diaper for the first time... the diaper is huge on her and is the size of a tissue folded in fours.
