Adelina gained an ounce today - she's up to 2lbs 3oz!!! The Docs say that getting to the 3lb mark takes a while, but once they get there the weight gain happens much quicker. They increased her feeds to 27ml over her 1.5on/2.5off meal times. She still gets a Biggie Fry during her meal - the fat looks like white paint that the nurses put in her feeding tube.We visited her in the morning and I held her for her feeding - it takes her about 20 minutes to get settled and then she was out cold. The getting settled part makes me forget to breathe too!
Our roommates, the Marino's, were making a pit stop in the nursery as well... Proud Papa here! It looks like Mike took Marisa to work with him, but he's just by the nurse's computer.
