I was a little suprised that the nurse didn't wait for me to get there when I called to tell her what time I was coming in to feed her ... but she (who will remain nameless) went ahead and gave Adelina her first bottle (she only gets one try a day) at 10am this morning. Good news is that she drank 15cc and received the rest through her NG feeding tube. Bad news is we missed out on another "normal" parent function, since that's about all we can do for her right now besides stare at her.She had one apnea today and is still on the caffeine to help. She most likely will have to come home on the caffeine and monitors, but we'll take her. She is still on schedule for coming home close to her 6/29 due date.
Weight today is at 3lbs 7oz - she's growing like a weed taking 42ml/30 minutes every four hours. If they can keep her feeding every 4 hours, Mom will be quite happy :) Everything is going very quickly...
