Adelina loved her visit from the hospital's harp player. She was smiling and awake the entire time, trying to find where the music was coming from. It made everyone around her smile... look how focused she is!
We had a pretty uneventful day today... trying to sit tight and lay low on some higher oxygen. The lasix helped Addy lose a little bit of the fluid weight, so Dr. Chang said to wait and see how she weighs in later. She had some shallow breathing after feedings, but nothing short of what we feel like after a Thanksgiving Dinner according to nurse Ann Marie.
I held her for a few hours swaddled like a mini-burrito and she seemed to like it. This helped me get a good look at her during a hold and talk to her. Of course, it also opened an opportunity to put her in a cute little shirt and matching hat. She smiles a lot when she's awake and has big dark blue eyes.

I am a friend of a friend and have been checking on Baby Addy. She is making wonderful progress.
