Adelina had her follow up eye exam this afternoon. They re-check for blindness, retina detachment... you know all those things that are just wonderful to think of. She did fine, but was quite aggitated from the exam, so she had a Bradycardia while the doctor was checking her. That was her only one for the day.
A feeding was skipped for the eye exam, but she weighed 2lb 14oz this morning, so we were happy that the lasix worked sucessfully for her. Doc Moom increased her feeds to 35ml over 45 minutes. Hopefully by next week, we will try and introduce her to mouth feeds.
On the breathing front - she was lowered on the cannula to 22% and doing well. We're hoping to eventually get off of the cannula and work on weaning out of an isolette, mouth feeding and steady breathing... then she can come home, sounds easy enough... right. We're hoping for sometime in July. You can do Sweetie and we'll all be waiting!
