BIG NEWS ON WEIGHT GAIN - - -
Adelina weighed 3lbs this morning AND.... weighed 3lbs 1oz at night. We'll be expecting a "3lbs" sign at her new bedside tomorrow :) A few more ounces and they'll start to wean her out of the isolette and into clothes and blankets. She also measured 14 1/4 inches (she was 12 1/2 at birth).
Her cannula (again - it's can-u-la or cannoli) was weaned to the low pressure (from 1.0 to 0.5) and room air 21% in the early morning... she wasn't having it (she had a Brady w/in 20 minutes). She was hanging strong at the room air % for the rest of the day. Good Job Adelina...
It's a game we have to play with her to get her off of the cannula again. One bad day off the cannula and we're back to where we were a week ago (hence the "two steps forward, one step back" NICU motto).

That is AWESOME! We didn't stay in the step down nursery very long after moving there and I bet she won't eithre! Nate weighed 4 pounds 5 ounces when we brought him home!
She has just done amazing! It's so great that you will celebrate 2 month B-day in the "nicer" side of the nursery.
