Day 62 From the Dorm Room...

...to her first high rise apartment. Adelina has amazed us once again by regulating her own body temp for quite some time now. So big girl has now has graduated to the open crib. Last time we saw her in an open crib, it was for emergency access.


She weighed in at 3lbs 9oz and feeds were increased to 43ml. She breastfed for 15 minutes and was weighed before and after to see how much she drank. Adelina took 5cc's! Feeding makes Addy tired and she had a drop in heart rate followed by a desaturation of oxygen in the middle of it. Addy recovered on her own, so no demerits.


She is receiving the microlipids for extra calories, prilosec for reflux, vitamins for anemia and caffeine for apnea. We're hoping that she is able to come off the lipids soon as we prepare her for normal feedings.
